Field Trip – Beatty Biodiversity

This is a great place to visit! We had a good field trip here w/ the YNC – even want to go back right away for a second trip on our own.

The field trip focused on art in nature – lines, patterns, colors, etc. Wonderful.

I went on a field trip. My brother, which was three, pulled a fire alarm (of course that becomes the most memorable part…). Mom and me laughed our heads off (out of embarassment!), but it was already the end of the field trip.

I got to make a butterfly. Here it is, Step 1. Get a tiny piece of paper, fold it in half, cut it in the shape of a butterfly, get some paint, paint one side with lots of paint anyway, then don’t paint the other side. You just squish it together and woila, you have it.

There was a whole bunch of horns. I got to see an alligator body – it was so cool. I liked the blue whale bones at the front.

Oh, did I mention that my brother pulled the fire alarm?

ART!

Tt NEVER stops drawing… except maybe to play with some Lego’s…

even at Restaurants, with one of his big sisters…

Mostly he draws battles. The entire time he’s drawing, he’s telling a story of an ancient battle of some sort…

My Mom says that I draw too much (uh, no I don’t…) but I still draw!

I love to draw because it’s the only way that I can raise a battle without even touching anything. You don’t even have to find all the pieces, you just draw, draw, shoot, blah, blah, blah. (Figures – he draws because it’s a lazy-man’s way of playing with toys… I should have guessed…). I think you should all raise a battle!

Art Books 02

These are my books. Each of them are my books.

I had to draw everything in them. Mom said that I should do nothing but draw, so every day I draw something. (I said that? I don’t know about that…)

Everything I do, I have to draw every last picture.
Here is my Dragon Book. The Dragon Book is book one, the first book. The Dragon Book is not just from a movie, it’s something I made up.

Book two is my Knights Book. These guys are a Joker and some sort of guy I made up.
Most of the people I just like to make up.

African Masks

My Mom cut out some paper things that look like masks, which I actually wore.
Then we got to paint our own African thing. I made up mine, Mom made up hers.

I got to make four or three or something like that.

That looks pretty funny. My brother calls it a delicious poo.

Art Books 01

I made a whole bunch of movies, which were actually books. Imagine that. Books that are  movies.
Can you imagine that? Haha.

This is a book on Egyptians and the Israelites.

I also made Knights movie books, I made Tom the cat – a book on some cute cat, and I also made a book on the Knight and the Skull, and a Pirate book, Star Wars, and a love story (so freakin’ cute!!).
They always have a movie thing on the front and an “X” on the back.

The Rules of Play, According to Tt

Last night we were sitting and a little girl came by to play with Tt’s IronMan and G.I. Joe chubbies.
Tt, apparently, was not impressed.
He immediately put the toys he was playing with away, grabbed his notebook, and drew out the following RULES.

I was loving #7 when I thought it said “NO WEAPONS!”, until I was told what the “YES…” part was… Such the boy.

Transformers!

The Autobots and Decepticons…

Every last Transformer. There is Megatron, the Fallen, Jetfire, Wheels, RC and the Twins, and some Decepticons that the Cube transformed – just keep looking. Nobody forgets Bumblebee. Rachet, Ironhide, Sideswipe, Star Scream, Devastator and lots more. Try to find every last guy.
